Geographic Photographer Robert Madden, who had been commissioned to
photograph the southern sector of Venezuela's Amazonas territory. said:
"There's one peak the Indians call Aratitiyope [pr: air-uh-tea-tea-yo-pay],
and it's like a shark fin, or needle when viewed on end," he said.
"It's by itself in the most remote part of the region, and it looks
different than the others, a different kind of rock." Taken from
